Italy Market Lead (Growth & Strategy)

At Deblock, we are building the first bank onchain: simple, non-custodial, and human. We are looking for our Italy Market Lead - the operational engine and local face of our expansion.

This isn't a role for a distant executive; it’s for a high-bandwidth builder. You will report directly to the Founders and VP of Marketing, acting as the bridge between high-level strategy and boots-on-the-ground execution. You will own the "Trust & Growth" engine for the Italian market.

👀 What we are looking for

  • The "Elite Operator" Profile: You have c.5 years of experience, likely starting your career in Management Consulting or Investment Banking, followed by a "hands-on" stint in a high-growth B2C startup.
  • Analytical Rigor: You don't just "have ideas" - you build the models, the decks, and the project plans to back them up. You are highly structured and process-driven.
  • B2C Marketing DNA: You understand customer acquisition funnels, CAC/LTV, and how to build a brand that resonates with Italian consumers.
  • Public Versatility: You are as comfortable presenting on a conference stage or podcast as you are negotiating a commercial contract.
  • Crypto Fluent: You can explain "Non-Custodial" to a 60-year-old on national TV without scaring them.

  • B2C Growth Experience: You’ve previously helped scale a consumer app or fintech product in the Italian market.
  • The "Lobbying Light" Touch: You’ve navigated Italian regulatory nuances or consumer protection hurdles before.
  • Network: You have a growing "Rolodex" of contacts across Italian fintech, media, and local payment platforms.

🧑‍💻 What you’ll be working on

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Take the global playbook and localize it. From "IBAN discriminator" strategies to local payment integrations, you own the roadmap for Italy.
  • Omni-Channel Creator Strategy: Don't just "hire influencers." Build a scalable engine of YouTube partners and creators across finance, tech, and lifestyle verticals. You’ll manage these relationships as a key acquisition channel, ensuring our message reaches the everyday Italian consumer.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify, pitch, and close commercial integrations that matter to Italians (e.g., local tax tools, banking rails).
  • Trust Architecture: Lead the initiative to acquire local trust signals—registering with consumer programs and obtaining local certifications.
  • Content & PR: Act as the primary spokesperson. You’ll represent Deblock on podcasts, TV panels, and at industry events.
