IT Systems Engineer

What are we looking for?

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be a key driver of reliability and scalability for our global infrastructure. You aren’t just maintaining systems; you are optimising them. You will serve as the technical anchor for our Bangalore site, bridging the gap between local operational needs and global infrastructure strategy. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, a proactive approach, and the ability to solve complex, cross-functional technical challenges. What You’ll Do?

• Infrastructure Ownership: Help the global team with the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of multi-site server environments across Linux, macOS, and Windows.
• Network & Security Excellence: Help the global team with manage and optimize enterprise networking components, including firewalls, switches, and ZTNA environments to ensure seamless global connectivity.
• Virtualization & Storage Management:  Help the global team with manage and scale VMware/vCenter environments and storage solutions (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Project Leadership: Act as the regional lead for global IT initiatives, driving technology rollouts and system migrations.
• Problem Management: Beyond standard troubleshooting, you will perform deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventative measures 

What We’re Looking For?

• Experience: 4–6 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with a proven track record of working with complex, enterprise-level environments.
• Technical Depth: Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), macOS, and Windows Server.
• Hands-on expertise in VMware and storage administration.
• Understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking and modern security frameworks (Zero Trust/Zscaler).
• Automation Mindset: Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) or Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform) is highly preferred.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones and cultures.
