About the Role

We’re looking for an IT/Systems Engineer to help maintain the secure, reliable, and efficient infrastructure that supports our fully remote team. You’ll work across identity management, Google Workspace administration, device support, SaaS tooling, vendor coordination, and renewal management. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and able to handle a broad range of IT responsibilities with clarity and ownership.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer and maintain our Identity Provider (Okta), including SSO, provisioning, deprovisioning, application integrations, and access governance.
  • Manage Google Workspace (email, groups, shared drives), ensuring reliable day-to-day operations and secure configurations.
  • Support team members with IT issues across tools, accounts, devices, and permissions, ensuring fast and clear remote support.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding: account setup, access control, tool provisioning, and process documentation.
  • Track and manage renewals for SaaS tools and IT services, coordinating with vendors, reviewing usage, and ensuring timely approvals.
  • Maintain documentation for IT processes, systems, and troubleshooting playbooks.
  • As a member of the engineering team, support engineers with infrastructure-related tasks, including CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, and troubleshooting build/deployment issues.
  • Assist other engineers in maintaining and organizing Terraform state, access, and workflows, coordinating with engineering when updates or reviews are needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience managing Okta (SSO, app integrations, user lifecycle management).
  • Experience administering Google Workspace in a production environment.
  • Comfortable supporting a fully remote team, providing clear and efficient remote-first IT support.
  • Experience with common IT and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, GitHub, Atlassian, etc.).
  • Ability to manage recurring vendor relationships, contracts, and renewal cycles.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Proactive mindset: ability to identify what needs to be done, communicate clearly, and move work forward independently.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent) to help engineers debug or streamline pipeline issues.
  • Understanding of Terraform to collaborate with engineering on environment setup, permissions, and state management.
