About this Role

Fandom is expanding! We are seeking an IT Systems Engineer based in Poznań to report to our Director of Global IT.

You will be part of a team that oversees global network infrastructure, manages SaaS applications and digital security/compliance, and supports over 500 employees worldwide.

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will serve as the expert escalation point for our global workforce, troubleshooting 2nd and 3rd-tier issues with a mix of analytical rigor and creative problem-solving. You will go beyond standard fixes by designing and building custom API solutions with Python to automate workflows and bridge gaps between our systems. Additionally, you will be the custodian of our core IT infrastructure, responsible for maintaining and optimizing SaaS applications and LAN/WAN networks in our offices worldwide.

You Will...

  • Maintain and develop custom API integrations using Python and REST API.
  • Serve as a 2nd escalation point for IT issues across the global Fandom offices.
  • Monitor and manage local and remote office networks utilizing Ubiquiti solutions.
  • Manage the Atlassian suite (primarily Jira and Confluence), including project management and permissions administration.
  • Oversee the Google Workspace environment, handling User/Group Management, Gemini administration, Email Security, and device management.
  • Administer various SaaS platforms, including Slack, Zoom, ChatGPT, JetBrains, and KnowBe4.
  • Conduct IT training sessions for new hires.

You Have...

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in troubleshooting hardware and software, with specific expertise in macOS.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate IT or System Administrator, including regular use of ticketing systems such as Jira, FreshService, or Zendesk.
  • A minimum of two years of experience administering Google Workspace is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Bash/Python scripting is required.
  • Fluency in English (B2/C1 level) is mandatory, as all company communication is conducted in English.
  • Proven track record of driving results.

Bonus Points...

  • Familiarity with Zabbix and Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing Corporate IT Security solutions.
  • Experience with the management of corporate devices using Jamf Pro and/or Intune.
  • Experience with managing and implementing AI Tools.
  • Experience as a Jira Administrator.
