Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract an IT Systems Administrator to join our IT Systems & Infrastructure team at Pharmathen’s Marousi premises.

As an IT Systems Administrator the ideal candidate will be responsible to ensure the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of the organisation’s IT infrastructure by administering servers, networks, cloud services, and core business systems. The IT Systems Administrator will also provide advanced technical support, implement system enhancements, maintain compliance with security and regulatory requirements, and ensure high availability of IT services across the organisation.

More particularly:

What you’ll do:

• Manage and maintain servers, virtualised environments (VMware/Hyper-V), storage, backup systems, and cloud platforms.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and security to ensure high availability and reliability
• Perform updates, patches, configuration, optimisation, and lifecycle management of IT infrastructure components.
• Administer Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy Objects, organisational units.
• Implement secure configurations, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate system documentation: diagrams, inventories, configuration records, SOPs.
• Support the operation of network infrastructure.
• Support the Employees on-boarding and of-boarding process

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7 years’ experience in system administration

Certifications preferred:

• Microsoft (MCSA, AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-900)
• VMware (VCP)
• ITIL Foundation
• Veeam VMCE

Job-Specific Skills:

• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
• Virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Microsoft 365 / Azure AD
• Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPN)
• Backup technologies (Veeam, etc.)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to security, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent command of English language
• Understanding of the business
