About The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on IT Support & Security Specialist to own day-to-day IT operations while ensuring information security and compliance across the company. This role sits within the Engineering team in Da Nang, Vietnam, and requires working onsite to manage our infrastructure and smart office systems.

This is not just a support role; you will own our IT assets, manage our Smart Office (IoT) ecosystem, and lead the process for our security compliance. If you love solving problems, building internal automations, and keeping systems secure, this role is for you.

What you will do

IT Support & Operations (The Core)

  • Asset Management: Own the lifecycle of company hardware (laptops, office devices) from procurement to retirement.
  • User Support: Act as the primary point of contact for IT issues, providing timely troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Smart Office & Automation: Manage the office IoT ecosystem (smart locks, sensors, lighting) and develop/maintain in-house technical solutions or scripts to streamline internal operations.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Execute seamless setup for new hires (accounts, device provisioning) and secure revocation of access for leavers.
  • Infrastructure: Maintain office IT infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Meeting Room solutions, Printers) to ensure high availability.
  • Administration: Manage domain registrations, DNS settings, and other general IT housekeeping tasks.

Software & Vendor Operations

  • SaaS Management: Manage software licenses, user seats, and renewals to ensure cost-efficiency and operational continuity.
  • Technical Vetting: Participate in the selection of new tools by reviewing technical requirements (e.g., checking for SSO, 2FA, and integration capabilities) before purchase.
  • Shadow IT Control: Maintain a central registry of approved software and ensure employees are using authorized tools.

Security Implementation & Compliance Support

  • Endpoint Security: Implement and monitor security controls on all devices (e.g., configuring MDM, Antivirus, and automatic updates).
  • Access Control: strict adherence to "Least Privilege" principles when granting access to company systems.
  • Compliance Project Management: Lead internal/ external audit projects and other compliance initiatives, including the process for SOC2 and ISO certification
  • Incident Assistance: Support the engineering and legal teams during security incidents by performing technical tasks (e.g., locking accounts, isolating devices, or retrieving activity logs).
  • Security Culture: Help facilitate security education during onboarding and assist in answering employees' questions regarding best practices.

What you need to be successful

Must-have

    • Experience in IT Support, IT Operations, or internal Security roles.
    • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Endpoint Management (MDM), Access Rights (IAM), and Office Network basics (LAN/WAN/WiFi).
    • Operational Skills: Experience managing software licenses (SaaS) and performing administrative tasks (setup/renewals)..
    • Security Mindset: Practical knowledge of security best practices (e.g., why 2FA matters, how to spot phishing, data privacy).
    • Soft Skills: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (Legal, HR, Engineering and other global teams) and supporting employees directly with patience.
    • Communication: Good English communication skills (written & verbal)—you will be writing announcements and talking to auditors.

Nice-to-have

  • Coding & Automation: Basic programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, AppScript) to build simple internal tools, automations, or manage Smart Office (IoT) solutions.
  • Compliance Exposure: Prior experience assisting with security audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001) or organizing evidence for compliance.
  • Startup DNA: Experience in a fast-growing environment where processes need to be built from scratch.
