TLDR

Contribute to securing a biotechnology environment by enhancing cybersecurity measures and conducting vulnerability assessments while supporting the CISO.

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs. Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the development of a secure and dependable IT environment, with a focus on cybersecurity and network monitoring
  • Respond promptly to security alerts and incidents by executing appropriate remediation actions
  • Conduct ongoing vulnerability assessments, including comprehensive technical analyses and risk evaluations
  • Continuously improve systems and processes by enhancing detection capabilities and advancing automation strategies
  • Participate in security evaluations, such as audits and reviews, to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Provide consistent support to CISO
  • Maintain security programs and systems

Requirements

  • Completed education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (HTL, Bachelor’s degree, or higher)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT Security Operations
  • Good knowledge of MS Windows Server and Client OS, Group Policies, Active Directory (On-Premise / Azure), Virtualization
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and security technologies, including: Firewalls, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Vulnerability scanner, SIEM solution, VPN, MFA
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; German is a plus
  • Experience in project management is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 52.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
