The Opportunity

This is a freelance contract role. There is no base salary. There is no ceiling either. Digitanity is bringing on independent recruiting contractors to source IT talent on behalf of our clients, and we are paying serious bounties for every successful hire you place.

 

Bounties range from $2,000 to $10,000 per successful placement depending on role seniority and complexity. These are not small rewards for small effort. They reflect the caliber of talent we are seeking and the commercial value each hire delivers to our clients.

 

To perform well in this role, you need to be comfortable working at pace across multiple searches simultaneously. Each open role may require you to source and evaluate a significant number of candidates before the right person is confirmed. This role requires both volume and precision. The best performers know how to move quickly without compromising quality, and those who can do that consistently will find the earning potential here to be substantial.

 

What You Will Do

As a Digitanity Freelance Recruiter you will own your pipeline from first outreach through to hire confirmation. Your work begins before a candidate ever reaches a client. Every person you put forward needs to be genuinely ready.

 

  • Source and headhunt IT talent across multiple channels including LinkedIn, social media platforms, and professional databases, with a focus on active and passive candidates
  • Conduct the initial screening call with each candidate to perform a thorough sanity check, confirming role alignment, relevant technical experience, required tech stack knowledge, soft skills, English proficiency, and availability for the location requirements of the role
  • Manage your full candidate pipeline within the recruitment platform you will be given access to upon onboarding, keeping every candidate record up to date and every stage accurately tracked
  • Attend weekly pipeline calls with the Digitanity team to review active candidates, discuss progress, troubleshoot blockers, and align on priorities for the week ahead
  • Coordinate scheduling for technical assessments and interviews between candidates and client hiring managers
  • Provide clear, professional, and timely feedback to every candidate at each stage of the process, protecting the Digitanity reputation for candidate experience
  • Work at volume and maintain quality simultaneously, understanding that the role demands both speed and precision across many simultaneous searches
  • Adhere strictly to all data privacy requirements, GDPR obligations, and the terms of your Non-Disclosure Agreement throughout the engagement

 

Tooling and Support

You will not be starting from scratch. Upon onboarding, Digitanity will give you access to the recruitment and pipeline tracking technology used across our client engagements. This platform gives you full visibility into active open roles, detailed role briefs, and real-time pipeline status for every candidate you are working with. You will also be issued a Digitanity email address for all external communications, ensuring candidates and clients experience a consistent and professional brand at every touchpoint.

 

You will be supported by weekly team touchpoints, clear onboarding documentation, and a Digitanity team that is invested in your success. Your placements are our placements. When you win, we win.

 

What We Are Looking For

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT recruitment experience, whether in-house, agency, or freelance
  • A strong track record of sourcing and placing technical talent across software engineering, data, infrastructure, or adjacent disciplines
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken, as all candidate and client-facing work is conducted in English
  • A genuine understanding of the IT market and the ability to evaluate a candidate's technical background accurately during a screening conversation
  • The ability to assess soft skills, communication quality, and cultural fit on an initial call, and make a clear judgment call on whether a candidate is ready to move forward
  • A high-volume mentality: you are comfortable running multiple searches simultaneously, working through many candidates per role, and keeping your pipeline organized under pressure
  • Self-motivation and accountability: you manage your own time, hit your targets, and do not need to be chased for updates
  • A strong commercial instinct: you know that speed, quality, and volume are all part of the job and you embrace that

 

Contractor Requirements

  • You must operate as a registered freelancer or independent contractor in your country of residence
  • You must sign Digitanity's Non-Disclosure Agreement before onboarding begins, covering all candidate data, client information, role details, and any commercial or operational information you are given access to
  • You must always comply with Digitanity’s data privacy and GDPR standards, both during and after the engagement
  • You must use your issued Digitanity email address for all external communications and represent the Digitanity brand professionally in every interaction
  • You must be available for the weekly pipeline calls and responsive within agreed working hours
  • You must maintain strict confidentiality around all client, candidate, and commercial matters, with no exceptions

 

Compensation

This is a 100% commission-based contract. There is no retainer or base pay. Your income is a direct reflection of your output.
