We are seeking a passionate IT Product Owner to help build a new team to develop and operate digital solutions in support of our training and learning efforts. As a key member of Ascendis Pharma’s global learning ecosystem, you will advance a data‑driven learning culture, shape learning architecture, inform digital design, and enable evidence‑based decisions. The goal is to improve business performance and support strategic priorities across our growing, global organization.  

You bring a blend of technical business intelligence expertise and a strategic, product‑minded approach, paired with strong business partnering skills, enabling you to translate insights into action with stakeholders and align learning technology investments to tangible outcomes. 

This role, together with the product team will own the vision, roadmap, governance model, and user adoption strategy for how Ascendis Pharma can enable our learning and training needs through digital solutions — both in regulated (GxP) and non-regulated environments.

You will be joining Digital Learning and Enablement team consisting of 1 SME and a consultant, and report directly to People Manager Jakob Monajemzadeh Thrane who is based in Hellerup. You will be based in Hellerup.  

 

Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Drive the creation of the IT product vision and roadmap for digital learning and enablement. 
  • Build and run the governance model for how we build a global and scalable product to meet differentiated needs in the organization. 
  • Partner with QA, HR and other relevant stakeholders to build a coherent and aligned product 
  • Drive adoption and continuous improvement of our solutions 
  • Manage platform lifecycle, vendor interactions, and enhancement prioritization through a backlog.  
  • Stakeholder Management: Must gather information to understand expectations and clarify any inconsistencies or conflicting requirements to ensure alignment. 
  • Make tactical decisions regarding the management of the product backlog. This involves prioritizing requirements, clarifying them, splitting stories, and approving implemented items. 
  • Establish and shape the team’s ways of working, structures, and processes in close collaboration with team members 

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

You hold a relevant academic background and have 5+ years of experience with learning technologies, digital learning design or product management.   

Furthermore, you have: 

  • Experience with Learning technologies preferably Cornerstone LMS 
  • Experience with Learning within Pharma 
  • Experience as IT Product Owner in a DevOps Setting

Travel: up to 15 days per year.
