Job Description:

We are looking for a forward-thinking IT Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will focus on our start-up VIA, a platform that empowers merchants to digitally develop and grow their businesses. You will work closely with the Director of Product to gather and refine requirements, conduct research, and translate insights into actionable product features. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building and scaling products, and will have a direct impact on both customer-facing functionality and internal process optimization. This is a great opportunity to be a key contributor, shape the future of our online Fintech advance platform, and help define success metrics, best-in-class features, and measurable business outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with PMO and all functional groups in the company: engineering, sales, marketing, design, support, strategy/ops, customer success, finance, and executives
• Seek out and apply feedback from peers, executives, and customers to elevate your design solutions
• Define success metrics and measure outcomes to improve and iterate
• Understand internal stakeholder business priorities that rely on core processes to build or enhance product features
• Engage with operations to understand and define compliant productivity features
• Coordinate demos, training, and other related actions with QA and trainers for releases
• Manage projects with a detail-oriented approach, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with business objectives

Requirements

• 2-5 years of product management or relevant experience
• Technical background and/or experience working with developers
• Experience building well-designed products that solve real-world needs and deliver significant business impact
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously to align priorities and initiatives with key business objectives
• Worked on highly cross-functional projects with the ability to align disparate stakeholders and set realistic expectations amongst competing priorities
• Business analytical and structured thinking. Data-driven with a strong focus on achieving engagement, loyalty, conversions, and growth through planning and experimentation
• Demonstrate knowledge of Fintech concepts (underwriting, verification, fraud, KYC, payment systems, etc.)
• Ability to solve non-standard problems with an innovative approach
• Understanding of technical constraints and can effectively balance quality and speed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and relationship-building skills
• Experience in Fintech or Financial sector is a plus
• Availability to work on-site and full-time.
