What’s this role about?

By being part of  Auvik’s IT team, you’ll help implement, maintain, administer, and support internal IT infrastructure such as network, hardware, and end-user systems and software. 

What will I be doing?

As a champion for enabling employees through technology at Auvik, these are a few of the things you’ll do:

  • Ensure all IT devices and systems are in working order to optimize operations
  • Provide best in class customer service for user support requests
  • Work with Auvik’s outsourced managed service providers
  • Complete new device setup & delivery
  • Handle hardware troubleshooting and repairs
  • Document new and existing IT processes and procedures
  • Help update and patch endpoints
  • Take part in additional projects as required
  • Maintain Auvik's IT Asset Inventory
  • Align with the Security team on best practices

What are we looking for?

  • Advanced Google Workspace knowledge
  • Okta or similar Identity Provider experience
  • Previous Ticketing System management experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience providing remote IT support
  • An expert on Apple Mac hardware & software
  • Proven customer service
  • Versed in AI fundamentals and a good understanding of current offerings (OpenAI, Gemini, etc)
  • Location note: Auvik is a fully remote company. For this role, we are looking for someone located near the Waterloo region, as there is occasional in-person collaboration with our MSP - typically once per quarter.

Are there bonus points?

Compensation Details 

At Auvik, our compensation philosophy is to be market competitive, reward performance, reflect our commitment to equity and maintain transparency with our employees. We have defined job levels and compensation ranges for each of our markets we employ, based on research from various sources of market data, which are reviewed on a regular basis.

The hiring range for this position is listed below. Compensation offered for candidates in this role is based on a number of factors including job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. These factors may cause your compensation to vary within the range outlined below. 

In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees are granted stock options to share in Auvik’s future successes. Auvik employees are eligible to participate in additional benefits and programs including our comprehensive health and dental benefits plan, Wellness spending account, GRSP matching program, flexible paid time off, paid parental leave program, and are eligible for remote working subsidies.
