ENSURE IT SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

As IT Operations Manager, you will ensure the seamless availability and efficient lifecycle management of all IT services at the production site. This includes overseeing the entire IT infrastructure lifecycle, from networks and server infrastructure to workplace services and specialized client systems. You will lead the implementation of comprehensive IT security measures in collaboration with the IT Area and Global Security teams to proactively address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with established security policies. By monitoring and managing daily IT operations through key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements (SLAs), you will ensure exceptional service quality and uninterrupted business operations.

PRIMARY BUSINESS CONTANT FOR IT OPERTATIONS

You will be the key liaison between local business operations, IT service owners, IT operations partners, and IT area peers. By fostering seamless communication and close collaboration, you will ensure that IT services are fully aligned with business needs, acting as a trusted partner to deliver the best solutions for operational success.

LEAD AND SUPPORT IT PROJECTS

In this role, you will lead strategic IT projects following Red Bull’s project management methodology. You will focus on maintaining and enhancing production-critical IT infrastructure, delivering tailored solutions based on business demands while adhering to Red Bull’s global standards for project management (PM), IT service management (ITSM), and documentation. Your expertise will ensure continuous operational improvement, system optimization, and long-term innovation.

COORDINATE OPERATIONS WITH EXTERNAL PARTNERS

You will manage relationships with external IT partners, ensuring that day-to-day support activities run smoothly and meet all operational procedures and service-level agreements. Additionally, you will oversee service sourcing, hosting, and housing activities, ensuring strict compliance with Red Bull’s world-class standards and guidelines.

DRIVE PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS AND ITSM STANDARDS

Your role will include identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in IT processes, ensuring they align with Red Bull’s latest IT service management (ITSM) standards. By leveraging global and area IT services, you will enhance the efficiency of local IT operations and implement innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the production site.

BUILD LOCAL AI EXPERTISE AND ENSURE AI COMPLIANCE

You will take the lead in building local expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, unlocking new opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. In addition, you will ensure all AI-related initiatives comply with Red Bull’s global AI policies and standards, enabling the seamless integration of AI-driven solutions into the production environment.

Proven expertise in IT service management (ITSM), ensuring operational excellence through incident, change, and asset management

Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure: networks, virtualization systems, and workplace services

Strong grasp of IT/OT security principles, with experience mitigating vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance

Hands-on experience managing IT operations in production environments, ensuring stability and service availability

Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive small to mid-sized IT projects, prioritizing business needs and aligning with IT standards

Fluent English and German skills

A natural collaborator with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in German and English, acting as a trusted face of IT and a Go-To Expert

Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, leveraging KPIs and monitoring tools to optimize performance

Familiarity with AI applications in production environments is a plus

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,535 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
