IT Onsite Technician & Application Management

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile IT professional to take on a dual role involving Operations Support Services (OSS) and TechOps / Application Management. The ideal candidate will dedicate 50% of their time to OSS activities and the other 50% to application management and technical operations, ensuring a balance between maintaining the infrastructure and supporting business-critical applications. This role focuses more on application management but requires expertise in both areas.

Task and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and troubleshooting assistance related to computer hardware and software, mobile devices and other tech tools and products
• First and second level technical support – calls/tickets/user interaction
• Provide prompt responses to questions from employees as well as from client’s site
• Documentation of problems and knowledge database creation
• Provide hardware migration teams with information and appropriate reports and lists
• Service Request Management, Access Management, User Management, in-house Onsite Support
• Good knowledge and experience of working in regulated environments (GxP)
• Consult with IT experts, if the appropriate course of action in unclear
• Application of knowledge of overall systems and landscapes as appropriate
• End-users trainings
• Right assignment and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory
• Process Improvement activities

Requirements

• Language skills: fluent English, other languages are advantage
• IT-technical know-how in the area of Windows systems, ThinClients (e.g. Dell, Igel, HP), IPCs
• Previous experience with T/SQL, MSSQL, PowerShell and Networking (VLAN, Firewall)
• Strong problem solving/analytical abilities
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task handling multiple clients
• Ability to work independently as well as willing to follow direction and best practices
• Planning and organizing skills
• Team player and supportive personality
• Candidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than three months
