IT Intern

iKnowHealth S.A., as part of iKnowHow Group, is seeking an IT Intern to join our team. As a leading provider of software solutions for the healthcare and radiology industries, our goal is to improve productivity, enhance access to information, and lower the overall cost of managing large volumes of data efficiently and effectively.

We specialize in developing and distributing the Evorad® certified clinical software, a complete RIS / PACS / WORKSTATION suite that covers all the needs of a radiology department. Our software offers customizable user roles, multi-task scheduling, complete audit trails, and customizable medical reports.

*Currently enrolled as a student in a recognized educational institution in Greece, obligated and/or eligible to participate in an internship program as required by Greek law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and peripherals.
• Provide basic technical support to staff (hardware, software, and network issues).
• Help monitor and maintain network systems, backups, and security tools.
• Document IT procedures, incidents, and solutions.
• Support the IT team with routine maintenance tasks and system upgrades.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows & Linux), and networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of network protocols and operations (e.g. routing, firewalls, VLANs).
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and troubleshooting common technical issues.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Eager to learn and able to handle confidential information responsibly.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with network management tools and systems, such as Unifi, Omada, or Sophos.
• Exposure to cloud environments, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Previous experience (academic or practical) in Linux system administration or network configuration.
