Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate Windows Server environments, ensuring system stability, availability, and compliance with internal standards, including configuration management, patching, and regular health checks.
- Administrative and operational support for the organization’s MS365 Tenant, including Exchange Online, Entra, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.
- Manage and administer Microsoft Intune for client endpoint enrollment, configuration, compliance, and policy enforcement.
- Manage and maintain Hyper-v hosts and virtual machines, including capacity planning, performance optimization, lifecycle management, and routine host and cluster operations.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce Group Policies to ensure standardized security and configuration settings. Regularly monitor and maintain AD health, ensuring replication integrity and addressing issues promptly.
- Monitor server and infrastructure health, capacity, and performance trends; proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures to ensure reliable service delivery.
- Maintain backup and recovery solutions, ensuring successful execution of backup jobs, regular restore testing, retention management, and readiness for disaster recovery scenarios.
- Support and maintain core infrastructure services, including storage systems, virtualization platforms, and fundamental network services (DNS, DHCP), ensuring consistent and secure operation.
- Collaborate with the service desk and escalation teams to support operational activities, maintenance tasks, and service improvements, providing guidance and support when deeper technical involvement is required.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in infrastructure support or systems administration, with exposure to Windows Servers, virtualization (e.g. Hyper-v or similar), and Microsoft 365.
- Basic experience with server monitoring, alerting, and incident handling, or willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with networking (routers, firewalls, switches) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a managed services environment, supporting multiple client environments and following standardized processes and documentation.
- Well-rounded, proactive profile with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem-solving mindset; able to work independently as well as within a remote team.
- Experience working in international / multicultural teams, with awareness of cultural differences.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
