ABOUT THE ROLE
Bright Machines is transforming manufacturing through intelligent automation and software-defined production. As an IT Help-Desk Technician, you’ll be a key partner in keeping our teams connected, secure, and productive across our San Francisco (SF) headquarters and Mexico (MX) operations.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting both corporate and operational environments. You’ll be the go-to resource for day-to-day technical support while helping scale our IT systems in a fast-growing, distributed organization.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Provide Tier 1–2 support for Windows 11, macOS, and Linux environments
Manage users and access in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Support and manage devices using Intune (Windows) and Kandji (Mac)
Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack, and Atlassian tools
Support Wi-Fi, printers, VPN, and general connectivity issues
Assist with mobile device setup (iOS & Android)
Image, deploy, and configure laptops and peripherals
Ship and receive laptops and IT equipment; manage asset inventory
Set up desks and equipment for new hires
Conduct IT onboarding and user orientation sessions
Collaborate with IT and business teams in SF and MX to support remote employees
Support basic operational devices such as time clocks and badge/check-in systems
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
2–3 years of helpdesk or desktop support experience
Strong troubleshooting skills across PC and Mac environments
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
Familiarity with MDM platforms (Intune and/or Kandji preferred)
Experience with asset management and hardware logistics
Ability to support basic operational devices in a manufacturing or office setting
Excellent communication skills and comfort supporting distributed teams
