Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our IT Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will provide first-level technical support to end-users, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to users for desktop systems (Windows/Mac), applications, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop hardware, operating systems, and standard applications.
  • Set up and support user accounts, permissions, email, and system access as per company policies.
  • Log, track, and manage IT support tickets using the helpdesk system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff or relevant teams.
  • Maintain inventory records of IT assets and equipment.
  • Assist in deploying patches, antivirus updates, and security configurations.
  • Support video conferencing and collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams, etc.).
  • Participate in new hire onboarding, including workstation setup and orientation.
  • Follow IT policies, procedures, and security best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in IT desktop support or similar role.
  • Good understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and basic ticketing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
