The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join our Corporate IT team to help us work towards our mission of delivering world-class IT Infrastructure, Tools & Services to support and enhance the technology experience of Nitronauts worldwide – enabling faster, smarter and safer work for all.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of core systems, lead key initiatives, and contribute to the evolution of a modern, cloud-first IT environment. You’ll work across a broad range of technologies and play a key role in shaping how IT operates at scale.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own, manage, and continuously improve our M365, Entra ID, and Intune environments to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing services
  • Play a key role in simplifying and modernising our corporate cloud infrastructure by identifying and decommissioning unnecessary servers, services, and legacy components
  • Take a lead role in IT projects, driving delivery from planning through to execution
  • Design and implement PowerShell automation to streamline operations and reduce manual effort
  • Act as a technical escalation point and mentor IT Support Engineers, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class support to Windows and macOS users across Nitro’s global offices and remote workforce
  • Partner with IT Support Engineers to deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new Nitronauts
  • Deliver onboarding sessions and user training where required
  • Ensure meeting room and AV technology is reliable, user-friendly, and fit for purpose
  • Manage stock levels and procurement of hardware and peripherals
  • Maintain a strong security posture through patching, endpoint hardening, and vulnerability management
  • Play a key role in compliance initiatives, supporting standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or similar roles
  • Strong customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and incidents effectively
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal direction
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to clearly document and diagram systems, processes, and architectures

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience managing M365, Entra ID, and Intune environments
  • Experience creating Conditional Access policies and baseline security hardening configurations
  • Advanced knowledge of macOS as well as Windows desktop and server environments
  • Experience with device management platforms (Intune, Jamf preferred)
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
  • Strong networking fundamentals, including troubleshooting connectivity and configuring network devices (firewalls, switches, wireless APs)
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Meraki networking environments
  • Industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, ITIL)
