IT Contractor - Infrastructure (6 month contract)

Seeking an IT Contractor for a 6-month engagement with basic PowerShell scripting skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft Azure environment. The contractor will support day‑to‑day infrastructure operations and assist with automation script tasks.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

• Execute routine InfraOps tasks and basic Azure administration.
• Develop or modify simple PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Coordinate with other departments on project work.
• Raise & Support incident resolutions and service requests.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking).
• Maintain documentation and follow existing SOPs.

Who You Are:

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration.
• Practical understanding of Azure (resource management, monitoring, access).
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell (basic scripting, automation tasks).
• Ability to work independently with remote/global teams.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ITIL, ticketing systems, and security best practices.
• Experience in enterprise or hybrid cloud environments.
