Your Impact

As our IT Consultant for QM Applications, you’ll be the key interface between the QM department and IT. You’ll ensure QM systems are aligned with business requirements, efficient, secure, and ready for the future.

What You’ll Do:

• Act as a trusted partner for the QM team, translating business needs into effective IT solutions.
• Manage QM-related applications and tools, including infrastructure, performance, and compliance.
• Guide QM management and key users on IT strategies that drive competitive advantage.
• Identify digitalization opportunities and support implementation of relevant projects.
• Advise on tool selection and integration into the broader IT landscape.
• Apply best practices in project, portfolio, and service management for QM & R&D applications.
• Ensure adherence to IT standards, security, and corporate guidelines.
• Evaluate and manage external service providers for optimal global delivery.
• Support supplier selection and contracts in coordination with corporate IT purchasing.
• Champion a culture of safety, technical compliance, and process ownership.
• Inspire colleagues to challenge the status quo and deliver sustainable solutions.

To succeed in this role, you bring advanced expertise across several critical domains:

• QM-related Applications: Deep understanding of specialized solutions for quality management, including tools for data analytics and reporting.
• IT Infrastructure & Cloud Concepts: Strong grasp of foundational IT architecture, cloud environments, and infrastructure integration.
• Quality Management Processes & Standards: Solid knowledge of industry standards such as ISO and IATF, and how to apply them in IT contexts.
• Business/IT Consulting & Requirements Engineering: Ability to translate business needs into actionable IT requirements and guide stakeholders through digital transformation.
• Project Management: Proven track record in leading complex IT projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Vendor & Service Management: Skilled in managing external providers, ensuring service quality, negotiating contracts, and optimizing cost-performance ratios.
