As our IT Automation Engineer, you won't just be managing tickets or performing routine maintenance—you'll be an architect of efficiency, tasked with transforming our manual IT processes into a streamlined, automated ecosystem. You will have the autonomy to design and build the workflows that define how we scale. This isn't just about writing scripts; it's about shaping the future of our digital workplace and seeing your code directly reduce the daily burden on your peers and the broader organization.
On a typical day, you might:
Architect and build complex workflows that automate repetitive tasks across our entire stack of enterprise applications.
Create intelligent routing and auto-remediation systems to proactively solve issues, significantly reducing the L1/L2 support burden.
Implement AI-powered workflows to handle high-stakes tasks like access reviews, compliance checks, and intelligent alerting.
Deploy self-service portals that empower employees to solve problems independently, enhancing the overall user experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Security and GRC teams to integrate compliance automations directly into our infrastructure.
Orchestrate identity lifecycles using Okta workflows and SCIM provisioning to ensure seamless and secure access.
Troubleshoot and refine integration points when automation logic meets real-world complexity, ensuring our systems remain resilient.
The ideal candidate will bring:
3+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise IT systems with a dedicated focus on automation over manual operations.
Advanced Python development skills, with a proven ability to write maintainable, production-grade code that includes robust error handling.
Expertise in IdP administration, specifically regarding lifecycle automation, SCIM provisioning, and complex workflow orchestration.
Deep familiarity with MDM platforms (such as Kandji, Intune, or Jamf) and a commitment to zero-touch deployment strategies.
Technical proficiency with APIs and webhooks, allowing you to programmatically integrate and extend various SaaS platforms.
A background in AI-driven automation, including experience building workflows using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) for intelligent decision-making.
Experience with compliance or security operations, ideally with an infrastructure-as-code mindset and an understanding of zero-trust networking.
Strong collaborative abilities to translate complex business requirements from Security, GRC, and Engineering into elegant technical solutions.
Experience managing Google Workspace at scale preferred, utilizing advanced admin features to optimize the employee experience.
A strong background in DevOps or security operations is a bonus, for approaching IT challenges with an infrastructure-as-code mindset to ensure scalability and consistency.
