The IT and Systems Manager will work within the operations team and collaborate with various stakeholders, such as our Shared Service teams and external vendors. This role demands strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Systems Management and Process Improvement:

  • Maintain systems to ensure minimal downtime for staff and customers.
  • Create and customize automated workflows such as using Microsoft Power Apps and Zapier.
  • Integrate Power Apps with Azure services and data sources like SharePoint, SQL Server, and Dataverse.

User Support on Microsoft 365:

  • Provide IT support and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft 365, including Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
  • Utilize programming languages like C#,JavaScript and Power Fx
  • Manage SQL databases for data management and querying.
  • Develop and customize web applications using HTML, CSS, and ASP.NET.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex issues.

Network and Hardware Support:

  • Maintain network structure, ensuring connectivity at all times across our network of schools.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure all staff are equipped with the necessary hardware, such as laptops and peripherals, and to troubleshoot any issues with our systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with network management and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Systems Admin (such as Entra, MS 365, etc.), Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple school locations.
  • Strong vendor management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar
  • Experience with SaaS platforms such as Formstack and Zapier
  • Experience in an educational environment
