JOB DESCRIPTION 

Responsibilities will include providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing, and maintaining IT systems, and assisting with IT projects. This role requires a strong understanding of IT principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.

 

·       End-User Support 

o   Provide technical assistance and support to end-users through various channels (i.e. chat, phone, email, and in-person).

o   Resolve hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.

o   Assist in setting up and configuring user accounts and access permissions.

 

·       Technical Troubleshooting 

o   Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.

o   Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.

 

·       System Maintenance and Upkeep 

o   Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and backups.

o   Assist in managing hardware and software inventory.

 

·       Security Compliance 

o   Adhere to and enforce IT security policies and procedures.

o   Assist in maintaining a secure IT environment by implementing security best practices.

o   Participate in security planning meetings.

 

·       Documentation of IT processes

 

·       New Hire Onboarding and Training 

o   Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics and best practices.

o   Help users understand and utilize IT resources effectively.

o   Lead IT onboarding processes for new employees, including account provisioning, equipment setup, security training coordination, and systems access configuration.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in an IT support role, including end-user support,troubleshooting hardware and software issues and maintaining IT systems.

·         Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows & macOS) and software applications

·         Experience administering Microsoft 365 (Admin, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Office, Exchange)

·         Familiarity with single-sign on and identity management (Okta preferred)

·         Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues

·         Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·         Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset

Salary:
Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including individual skill set, experience and qualifications. The range of starting base pay for this role is $80K-$95K.
