Location: Córdoba, Spain (On-site)

Commitment: Up to 25 hours/week | 3-9-month duration.


About the Role

Are you passionate about information security and data privacy? Do you want to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world compliance? We are looking for a proactive ISMS Assistant Intern to join our security team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a live compliance environment, working with international standards and cutting-edge security tools.

Your Impact

  • Compliance Support: Collaborate on the review and refinement of Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and procedures.

  • Security Monitoring: Help monitor system alerts and support the escalation of potential security incidents.

  • Audit Readiness: Assist in the documentation and organization of evidence for both internal and external audits, ensuring we remain compliant with global standards.

  • Data Privacy: Contribute to GDPR-related activities and cross-functional data protection initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Core Knowledge: A foundational understanding of ISO 27001:2022 and GDPR principles.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, rigorous attention to detail in documentation, and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary, international team.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).

  • Knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Wazuh) or Cybersecurity fundamentals.

  • Exposure to ISO 13485:2016 (Medical Devices Quality Management).
