Irriland is seeking Inside Sales Representative, Counter Associates to manage in-person customer transactions. This role will be full-time, 30-40 hours per week, or part-time and will report directly to the Branch Manager. To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate and customer obsessed while serving commercial and residential clients in the green industry.

What you’ll be doing

As Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Selling inventory to commercial and residential contractors and individual customers
  • Answering customer questions in-person or over the phone about products and their availability
  • Preparing customer orders for pick-up, shipping or delivery
  • Assisting with inventory management within the warehouse
  • High School diploma, Associate Degree preferred
  • 2+ years irrigation, landscape industry or installation experience
  • 2+ years customer-facing or selling experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Multitasking and time-management skills
  • Drive to learn and develop the client base
  • Forklift experience
  • Ability to walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
