We are looking for an IP Globalization & Partnerships Specialist to lead the overseas expansion of Chinese original IPs through licensing, co-branding, and cross-market collaboration. What You'll Do

  • IP Acquisition & Expansion: Develop and execute overseas expansion strategies for Chinese original IPs, including IP selection, partnership model design, and international market development.

  • Partnership & Licensing: Build and maintain relationships with overseas brands, distributors, and retail platforms to drive IP licensing, co-branding collaborations, and cross-industry marketing initiatives.

  • Project Execution: Oversee end-to-end execution of IP overseas projects, including market research, contract management, progress tracking, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Market Insights: Continuously monitor global trends in toys, FMCG, and retail industries, analyze competitors and consumer preferences, and provide data-backed insights for IP globalization strategies.

  • Brand Communication: Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to promote IP-related campaigns, exhibitions, and social media activities in overseas markets to enhance brand visibility.

  • Performance Review: Evaluate project outcomes, produce periodic review reports, and recommend optimization strategies.

 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Marketing, International Trade, Cultural & Creative Studies, or Brand Management preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in IP licensing, brand partnerships, overseas expansion, or related fields; background in toys, retail, or consumer goods is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of overseas markets, especially Southeast Asia, Japan/Korea, and North America/Europe; hands-on experience in overseas collaboration or project implementation preferred.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-cultural environments.

  • Proficiency in English as a working language, with strong business acumen and data analysis capabilities.

  • Passionate about IP culture, with strong interest in designer toys, consumer retail, and cross-border e-commerce.

  • Experience participating in well-known IP globalization, co-branding, or cross-industry collaboration projects (e.g., anime, film, artists, or designer toy IP).

  • Resources in e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopee, Lazada) or offline retail channels.

  • Proven experience successfully launching Chinese original IPs in overseas markets.
