Who you are 

  • Hands on experience building, fabricating, assembling, disassembling and/or testing  
  • Comfortable using tools and working with your hands, or writing spreadsheets at your desk 
  • Comfortable with writing and using software scripts, logging data and drafting documents 
  • Highly organized and able to communicate effectively 
  • Must be self-motivated with strong initiative to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively. 
  • Able to balance between the perfect solution and just getting it done. 
  • Must be able to work well in an open team environment. 
  • Close proximity to Dublin, OH to be onsite  

 

Responsibilities 

  • Execute test procedures and experiments on new and returned product 
  • Read, follow, and maintain documentation for QC test procedures and experiment plans 
  • Disassemble, assemble and inspect returned products on a routine basis 
  • Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis.  Track hardware product performance 
  • Log data and constantly improve data clarity and organization for the IoT test team 
  • Work closely with supply chain on inventory processes 
  • Work closely with Hardware and Test Engineers on new experiments and QC processes 
      

Qualifications

  • BS or trade school certificate, equivalent or relevant hands-on work experience 
  • Experience with electronics or electrical testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) 
  • Experience with tools and measurement methods, units, tolerances 
  • Is comfortable disassembling and inspecting electromechanical devices 
  • Capable standing and performing light manual labor for many hours per shift 
  • Strong organizational skills and is detail oriented 
  • Experience with Python, Matlab and/or data acquisition software is a plus 
  • Experience with issue tracking and source control such as Jira/Bitbucket is a plus 
  • Experience in a manufacturing or consumer/industrial product test environment is a plus

We have a distributed team that works remotely across locations in the United States and Ontario, Canada. Collaboration within core working hours is required.
