Investor Operations Manager

We help funds, real estate sponsors, startups, and private firms manage investor relationships, stay compliant, and raise capital through a combination of technology and hands-on support.
This role sits within InvestorOps, our division dedicated exclusively to investor relations and capital raising. Through InvestorOps, we hire and train professionals who are embedded directly within one of our client’s teams.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Director of Investor Relations and internal InvestorOps teams, helping coordinate operations, manage internal workflows, track deliverables, and support the execuution of key initiatives across the business. 

 

:star2: The Role

We're hiring an Investor Operations Manager to serve as a strategic partner to both our clients and internal Investor Relations teams. This role combines client relationship management, operational leadership, and project management to ensure exceptional service delivery and operational excellence across multiple accounts. 

You'll oversee client communication, manage cross-functional execution, track team performance, improve internal processes, and help drive long-term client success and retention. Acting as the bridge between clients, leadership, and internal teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring InvestorOps operates efficiently while delivering a high-touch client experience.

:wrench: What You’ll Do

Client Relationship Management 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts. 
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. 
  • Lead recurring client check-ins, business reviews, and strategic touchpoints. 
  • Understand client goals and align InvestorOps services to support their objectives. 
  • Manage client requests, feedback, and escalations with professionalism and urgency.

Operations & Project Management 

  • Oversee active projects, timelines, deliverables, and operational priorities across multiple accounts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and service delivery.
  • Track KPIs, outreach performance, response times, and operational metrics.
  • Ensure projects move forward efficiently while maintaining quality and accountability standards.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, risks, and areas for process improvement.

Team Coordination & Performance

  • Help oversee productivity and performance across Investor Relations Representatives.
  • Monitor task completion, outreach quality, response times, and operational consistency.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing team development.
  • Help improve internal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with leadership on reporting, prioritization, and operational planning.

Strategic Growth & Client Success

  • Recommend improvements to client engagement and operational processes.
  • Support account growth by identifying opportunities to add value and strengthen partnerships.

 

:white_check_mark: What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, client success, account management, operations, or team leadership.
  • Strong English communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience managing multiple projects, accounts, or priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems, project management tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while driving accountability and execution across teams.
  • Highly professional, polished, and client-facing demeanor.
  • Strong ownership mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in finance, investor relations, fundraising, private equity, venture capital, real estate, or B2B services.
  • Experience managing KPIs, operational metrics, or account performance.
  • Experience creating SOPs, workflows, or internal training materials.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working in startup or fast-scaling environments.
