iTech Capital is an innovative private equity and venture capital investment manager. We have been investing in successful businesses building new internet technology continually since 2010.

We invest globally at Series A stage and beyond. Active investors, we engage extensively with founders and choose our bets very carefully.

iTech Capital has already helped build two “unicorns” and other well-known businesses such as Aviasales.

Role:

We are looking for an experienced Investment Manager who will join our investment team. In this role you will be joining a small team split between our Moscow and Riga offices. You will be immediately engaged in all levels of the investment business, from deal-sourcing to due diligence, research, negotiation and management of existing portfolio companies. The investment team’s structure is flat and collegial; therefore, we are quick to give increasing responsibilities to members who can prove themselves competent, capable and self-driven. You are expected to have the required skills and experience to quickly contribute to the running of the business.

Candidates must have relevant experience in either management consulting, investment banking, private equity or the startup ecosystem.

Key responsibilities:

• Industry and market research (BigData, IoT, AI, FinTech, Adtech and other markets)
• Evaluation of investment opportunities and deal pipeline formation
• Investment Committee presentation drafting and presentation
• Financial modeling and analysis to support potential investments
• Investment Due Diligence and negotiation
• Ongoing monitoring of portfolio assets including review of monthly operating results
• Aiding in exit negotiations
• Investor communication and reporting
• Team leadership and management

Requirements:

• Strong academic credentials. BSc degree or higher with a major in Finance / Economics / Business or Applied Math / Technology
• At least 2-3 years related experience
• Highly analytical; advanced knowledge of corporate finance and accounting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong grasp of VC/PE mechanics 
• Ability to draft term sheets and a solid understanding of deal mechanics
• Self-driven attitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to write and communicate clearly
• Fluent English
• 3-7 years of previous work experience in a Venture Capital or Private Equity fund, or at the least equivalent IB/Consulting/Startups experience required
• CFA or CAIA certification preferred
