Investment Associate - Digital Infrastructure

Join our growing Digital Infrastructure team within L&G Asset Management, where you’ll play a key role in analysing, investing in and managing opportunities across data centres, fibre networks, wireless infrastructure and managed service businesses. You’ll be part of a collaborative team investing both L&G balance sheet capital and third‑party client funds across the UK, Europe and selectively North America.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting deal sourcing and screening across digital infrastructure opportunities
• Conducting sector research and assessing market trends
• Performing investment analysis, including building and reviewing DCF and other financial models
• Managing advisors and reviewing due‑diligence outputs
• Preparing high‑quality investment papers for investment committees
• Assisting in portfolio management activities, including reviewing reporting and observing board meetings
• Contributing to wider strategy development, fundraising and corporate initiatives
• Collaborating with colleagues across the business and building strong working relationships

Who we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in investment banking, Big 4, corporate finance, private equity or investment roles
• Strong financial modelling skills, especially DCF and LBO analysis
• Ability to interpret financial statements and understand capital structures
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical judgement and commercial awareness
• A proactive, self‑starting approach with resilience and curiosity
• Fluency in at least one European language (German, French, Spanish or Italian)
