Lead deal sourcing and execution in the Web3 and AI sectors, facilitating significant ecosystem growth while managing grant programs and shaping strategic partnerships.
We are looking for a strategic Investment and Partnership Associate / Manager to drive deal sourcing, due diligence, and ecosystem execution. We are seeking a candidate who acts as a bridge between capital and technology—someone capable of identifying high-potential projects in the Web3, AI, and Infrastructure sectors and driving their subsequent growth. The ideal candidate sees beyond the deal, capable of sourcing opportunities, managing grant/incubator programs, and scaling projects globally. You should possess a strong network in Western markets (US/Europe) to complement our existing footprint, along with deep insights into APAC user behavior. Responsibilities
  • Global Deal Sourcing & Execution: Drive investment and partnership sourcing across Western and APAC markets, with a specific focus on high-impact verticals such as Infrastructureand DeFi/Restaking.
  • Ecosystem & Strategic Growth: Go beyond simple partnership signing; lead execution on incubation projects, grant programs, and developer onboarding initiatives to drive tangible metrics (e.g., TVL, active users, and token utility).
  • Due Diligence & Research: Conduct rigorous fundamental and technical analysis on prospective projects. Produce investment memos that analyze tokenomics, competitive positioning, and technical viability (e.g., L1/L2 dynamics, privacy layers).
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze cryptocurrency market dynamics to identify emerging trends (e.g., AI-Crypto intersection, Real World Assets).
  • Network Expansion: Act as a public representative at global industry events to strengthen market presence and establish relationships with top-tier VCs, foundations, exchanges, and KOLs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Prepare management presentations and report to senior leadership while coordinating cross-functionally with engineering and marketing teams to ensure portfolio success.
  • Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in the Web3/Crypto industry, with a proven track record in Business Development, Ecosystem Growth, or VC.
  • Global Network (Western Focus): Demonstrated experience dealing with Western deal flows and North American/European project teams. Must have the ability to bridge the gap between East and West crypto ecosystems.
  • Tech-Savvy: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics. A strong understanding of (or experience working with) technical concepts such as AI Agents, Encryption Infrastructure, and Layer 1/2 scaling solutions is highly preferred.
  • Execution Oriented: Ability to independently identify, evaluate, and close opportunities. Experience leading hackathons, grant programs, or TGE (Token Generation Event) launches is a significant plus.
  • Problem Solver: Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing pipelines of 100+ projects while maintaining high standards of execution.
  • Location: Based in Hong Kong, Singapore, or the US, with a willingness to travel for key industry weeks.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience liaising with Venture Capital firms, Incubators, and Accelerators.
  • Strong interest and deep understanding of Blockchain.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Mandarin) is a plus, but English fluency is mandatory for Western deal flow management.
  • It was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange from 23 January 2015 to 9 March 2020.
