Inventory Control

  • Ensure stock accuracy and integrity across our operational warehouses.
  • Complete cycle counting, stock investigations, and stock integrity checks for goods received.
  • Use root cause analysis to maintain seamless stock traceability and flow within the business.

Pricing Control

  • Take charge of all system pricing across our range.
  • Set up and monitor RRPs, cost prices, promotions, and price worksheets, all based on pre-agreed commercial frameworks.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities 

Inventory Control 

  • Conduct stock investigations on stock at risk. Using root cause analysis and creating stock investigation reports. 
  • Conduct cycle count exercises within the warehouses to ensure locational stock integrity 
  • Conduct investigations into non-picked stock, providing investigations reports to challenge the Operations team, and support picking fulfilment. 
  • Management of “Quarantined” stock, ensuring relevant systematic transactions are completed. 
  • Conducting stock adjustments to rectify issues within the database under pre-established guidelines. 
  • Liaise and support the Compliance team in completion of product withdrawals and managing returns from stores. Ensuring that the system transfers have been completed correctly, and stock returned is re-distributed into the network in a timely manner. 
  • Use of mechanical handling equipment such as the Scissor Lift to support in completion of stock integrity tasks. 

Pricing Control 

  • Responsibility for item card setup across the business including all relevant fields to ensure margin control and reporting accuracy. 
  • Responsibility for accuracy and input of cost prices, RRPs, single & multi price promotion for products on receipt, ensuring a “Right first-time approach”. 
  • Challenge any prices with the relevant buyer to ensure and monitor margin targets are being met with prices, following any relevant pricing structures. 
  • Responsibility for creation of non-Scanning items, including setup of retail non scanning. 
  • Creation of items in weighted, mixed case, or deli format to ensure product sells in correct way, liaising with relevant department (Technical, Operations, Commercial). 

Requirements

  • Computer literacy & ability to conduct Admin Tasks. 
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships 
  • Operational and technical knowledge of your departmental area 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Be accurate, organised, and able to manage conflicting work demands. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Prior experience of Warehouse Management Systems preferred. 
  • Be self-motivated and have good prioritisation skills. 
  • Mathematics Skillset, able to count warehouse stock

Working hours: 40 hours per week Tuesday -Saturday , working 21:45-06:15am

THIS ROLE IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL 31ST MARCH 2026

Salary: £26'989 plus an additional £2'600 per annum- (Night shift premium)
