Purpose: The purpose of the Inventory Control Associate is to maintain accurate inventory in a fast 
paced, service oriented environment. The incumbent is responsible for doing daily inventory counts, 
putting away new inventory as it arrives from the factory, and pulling parts. They are also 
responsible for keeping a clean work area and keeping the shelves organized.


Responsibilities:
•  Perform daily inventory counts and corrections
•  Pull parts and stage for Field Techs
•  Performs shipping and receiving tasks. This includes parts being sent to customers and /or techs
•  Put inventory into stock locations
•  Maintain organization, workflow, cleanliness, and safety of shop operations
•  May pick up/drop off parts

Education and Experience:
•  High School Graduate/GED required
•  Must have knowledge of Inventory control

Knowledge and skills:
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
• Familiarity with data entry
• Ability to drive a forklift/obtain a license
• Strong time management skills & sense of urgency
• Flexibility to work outside the job description when the need arises
• Some local travel may be required for training purposes
• Must have strong computer skills and knowledge.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
• Standing – 95%
• Lifting up to 70 LBS – 5%
