JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title:  INVENTORY & LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE

Summary/Objective

Perform inventory and traffic functions for Samtec in order to maintain service, productivity, and profitability of the organization. Receive, pack, and process production orders properly and prepare them for shipping/export.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

1. Facilitate/perform accurate shipping, receiving, and stocking operations
2. Rotation of following positions: D-Container, Stock, Receiving and Issuance
3. Facilitate accurate stocking operations
4. Supply boxes to support areas
5. Data entry
6. Provide outstanding customer service to our customers
7. Required to perform all other functions in Inventory & Traffic as directed
8. Ability to work independently and as part of the team

Required Experience

1. PHYSICAL DUTIES  - Must be able to lift up to 20kg. from floor to waist routinely (push, pull, lift required)
2. Sense of urgency.
3. Good written communication skills.
4. Ability to pay close attention to detail.

Preferred Education:

1. Minimum High School Diploma / related technical or equivalent experience.

• ISO/TS Awareness Training (if required)
• ISO 14001 Awareness Training (if required)
• IH On Job Training
• Samtec Works
• MSDS Training (if required)
• On the Job Training as appropriate.

Languages:  English speaking/writing/understand and be able to communicate to HQ
