General Responsibilities: 

The Interventional Development Manager/ Senior Manager (IDM) is a strategic field-based role responsible for supporting interventional pain adoption across all regions with focus on select regions. This individual will focus on advancing key interventional initiatives including physician training, field education, case support, and society engagement. The IDM will serve as a critical link between market development, the field sales team, professional education, and targeted interventional providers to accelerate adoption and successful utilization of SI-BONE technologies, products, and procedural techniques. 

This role is ideal for experienced TRs with deep knowledge of interventional pain or an external candidate with proven success in interventional device markets.

Travel Requirements: 30-50%

Specific Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Physician Case Support & Coverage
    • Provide case coverage for newly trained physicians, initial procedures, and new hire field rep support.
    • Serve as a clinical expert and real-time resource to ensure procedural success and physician confidence.
  • Education, Training & Certification
    • Drive regional interventionalist training in collaboration with Professional Education.
    • Support the development, execution, and follow-up of training programs (in-person and virtual).
    • Deliver field education for TRs and clinical staff on interventional techniques and product positioning.
  • Academic Development
    • Identification of key academic program collaboration.
    • Training and education at key programs.
    • Support the SI-BONE evolution lab.
  • Society & Conference Engagement
    • Represent SI-BONE at key interventional society meetings and regional events.
    • Support podium development, physician engagement, and educational booth strategy.
  • New Product Support & Launch Execution
    • Serve as field expert for new interventional product introductions.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Market Development to ensure successful launch readiness and in-field adoption.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Sales Leadership, Professional Education, and Marketing to identify adoption barriers and propose actionable solutions.
    • Provide feedback and insights from the field to support continuous product and program improvement.

Knowledge, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field (required)
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device, preferably within interventional pain or spine
  • Strong clinical acumen with experience supporting procedures in an OR or ASC environment
  • Proven track record in physician training and/or sales enablement
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally (up to 60%)

Salary range:  $110,000 - $145,000 plus variable pay. The compensation range for this position is specific to the location and is in good faith what SI-BONE expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
