Internship project: quantifying and visualizing the impact of AI in Healthcare

During your internship, you will work on a concrete project aimed to make the impact of our AI products visible both internally and externally, which will play an important role to increase trust in our products and guide product development and adoption efforts. The goal is to make an intuitive dashboard that tracks the impact of our products real-time in an insightful way, e.g. by visualizing under- and overcapacity (which our products aim to reduce) over time, retrospectively visualizing optimal decisions against against actual decisions and decisions suggested by our products and making automatic overviews of user feedback and the frequency that users change their decisions based on our products.

What You’ll Do

• Perform analyses to assess the performance and impact of our products

• Automate these analyses and implement them in insightful dashboards

• Test prototypes, first internally with the Pacmed product team, and later with hospital users

• Collaborate closely with Pacmed’s data scientists, clinicians, and product managers

• Present your results and iterate based on feedback

Requirements

• You are enrolled in a Master’s, PDEng or PhD program and applying for an internship position as part of this program

• Available full-time for at least 5 months or an equivalent of time part-time (at least 50%)

• Demonstrable programming and analysis skills in Python

• Affinity with Dutch hospital care

• Affinity with making insightful visualizations using dashboards

• Living in the Netherlands
