WHO YOU ARE

  • Accounting majors preferred but will consider other business-related majors
  • Very strong knowledge of Excel including experience with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.
  • Classes or experience in Audit highly preferred
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and jump into anything needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performing testing of internal controls.
  • Becoming familiar with SOX software for purposed of documenting results
  • Learning how to use our ledger/ERP software for purposes of puling testing support
  • Communicating with personal throughout the company for testing related requests
  • Documenting progress in the completion of tasks and regularly report to manager on progress
  • Supporting the account and tax function on ad hoc projects
  • Assist in ensuring the company is meeting its SOX requirements
  • Providing support in various tasks, increasing the efficiency of accounting personnel

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Assist and enable LendingTree to meet it’s annual SOX 404 program requirements
  • Ensure LendingTree’s controls are operating at an effective level
  • Look for efficiencies to be had in LendingTree’s control testing processes
  • The Summer internship is a full-time program.
  • A GPA of 3.5+ is highly preferred.
  • Internships at LendingTree are not open to students who will require sponsorship.
