Internship Industrial Engineering

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Industrial Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying industrial engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges.

• Collect and analyze data from the shop floor to identify areas for process improvement
• Assist in developing and implementing lean manufacturing techniques to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows and reduce waste
• Conduct time and motion studies to improve workplace ergonomics and productivity
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations
• Support the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) for production processes
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute innovative ideas to solve complex problems
• Assist in the creation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various manufacturing processes

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Understanding of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing concepts, and process improvement methodologies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to work in a factory setting and conduct observations at various workstations
• Innovative mindset with a passion for optimizing processes and driving efficiency
• Medium to advanced English language proficiency, both written and verbal
