Internship in Clinical Data Management – Global Clinical Research (m|f|d)

TLDR

Gain hands-on experience in managing clinical data processes while supporting a team dedicated to advancing cell and gene therapies for life-threatening diseases.

As an intern in Clinical Data Management, you will gain hands-on experience in a global research environment and support our team in various data‑related processes. Your tasks will include:

  • Supporting EDC User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    You help review new study setups in our Electronic Data Capture system to ensure they work as intended and meet study requirements.
  • Assisting with the collection and maintenance of laboratory normal ranges
    You gather and update lab reference values used in clinical studies and learn how they are applied in data review.
  • Supporting user account management
    You assist in creating, updating, and organizing user accounts in our systems while learning about access control in clinical research.
  • Contributing to data reconciliation activities
    You help compare and align data from different sources to ensure consistency and high data quality.
  • Supporting SAS validation and certification processes
    You gain first insights into statistical programming workflows by assisting in documentation and validation steps.
  • You are an enrolled student in life sciences, health sciences, or a data‑related field.
  • Interest in clinical research and working with data
  • Careful, detail‑oriented working style
  • Willingness to learn new software tools
  • Good English and German skills
  • Reliable, proactive mindset
  • Your workplace will be Bergisch Gladbach.

The internship can be voluntary or mandatory  - as you require.
