Internship in Accounting with French (6 months)

The Intern in Accounting will be able to perform one or more accounting activities in the areas of AP and GL, including but not restricted to :

• Perform payments and reconciliation
• Process invoices and follow up for inconsistencies
• Perform transitory accounts reconciliation and uploads
• Post bank statements and journals
• Perform reconciliations between sub- and main-ledger
• Create/modify fixed assets and run depreciation
• Business correspondence on accounting activities

Education:

• Student or graduate in Business or Accounting

Experience:

• First experience in an accounting department

Skills:

• Good knowledge of accounting  processes
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Independent worker and team player
• Ability to deal with numerous deadlines simultaneously / Multi-tasking
• Familiarity and ease with varying IT and online software and applications.
• Knowledge of local GAAP is a plus
• Basic knowledge of major internal control procedures
• Experience with SAP S4/Hana is a plus
• Controlling/tax skills/knowledge is a plus

Languages :

• Fluent in French
• Fluent in English
• Italian – nice to have
