We have a team of more than 50 investment and operations professionals who provide a variety of perspectives and expertise across the venture capital landscape.

We are looking to hire a Growth Investment Intern in Berlin, with a start date in late March or April. The internship will last 3-6 months. Additionally, we are already accepting applications for an internship opening starting Q2/Q3 2025.

What Will You Work On?

• Discover and Research Potential Investments: You'll dig into industry trends, scour media sources for relevant company data, and delve into market research

• Analysis and Hypothesis Development: Enhance your financial understanding by developing financial models, dissecting business plans, and creating investment hypotheses

• Work Closely With Investment Managers: You'll be immersed in our deal flow, preparing for meetings with potential portfolio companies and assisting in portfolio management

• Craft Reports and Presentations: You'll distil complex data into digestible presentations and reports for our investment team and management

• Contribute to Our Knowledge Base: Investigate specific topics to expand our internal knowledge database and your learning

Requirements

• An Enthusiastic Learner: We value intellectual curiosity and an appetite for learning regardless of your academic background.

• Relevant Experience: Previous Venture Capital / Start-up internships are welcomed. However, this is not a strict requirement. Your analytical prowess, ambition, and willingness to take risks can tip the scales in your favour.

• Analytical Savvy: Show us your ability to parse through complex information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.

• Communication and Synthesis Skills: Can you transform complex data into simple insights? We value strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Independent and Driven: We support an autonomous work environment where quick productivity and independence are critical.

• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Maybe you're an aspiring entrepreneur or understand the hustle. Either way, we value a "punch above your weight" mentality.

• English proficiency, working knowledge of German, and strong competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Our Application Process

Our hiring decisions are informed by scorecards that have been crafted to identify and nurture a diverse range of talents. These scorecards reflect years of experience in selecting interns, and we use them to ensure that each candidate has the best chance of success.

By mid-December, we will evaluate all applications, CVs, screening responses, and assessment scores to select candidates for interviews.
