This internship will offer you the unique opportunity to support the divisional European SOX coordinator in the execution of the 2026 SOX process, CAPEX project's financial tracking process and Quality/Aging provision. 

This is a great way to learn how various key business and financial processes are organized and controlled from a financial perspective. On top, this assignment will also provide the opportunity to learn about SOX requirements for a US-listed company.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the SOX coordinator via working closely with the process owners on ensuring the SOX deliverables are achieved in time.
  • Work with different business process owners and controllers across Europe to ensure that the key controls are assessed, documented and tested properly. 
  • Perform walkthrough procedures and key controls testing. 
  • Perform quality control on the SOX tests.   
  • Lead the divisional CAPEX projects (IT and R&D) financial tracking process and support the CAPEX case preparation.
  • Support weekly Quality/Aging provision.

The preferred start date is February 2nd, 2026. The ideal candidate is available for 4-5 days a week for a duration of 6 months. The internship can be done remotely for up to 2 days per week.

We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated and thriving in a dynamic and collaborative environment. 

What we also expect from you:

  • Currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance & Control, Auditing, Economics, or any related studies
  • Someone with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, quick learner and can work under pressure
  • Good communication and not afraid to ask questions
