Internship Finance & Integrated Controls Excellence - (20-30 hours/ week)

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs. We take a highly specialized and targeted approach, applying our deep expertise across multiple vaccine modalities, focused on providing either first-, best- or only-in-class vaccine solutions.

About the Role

Kickstart your career in finance and compliance with a one-year, part-time internship in our Finance and Integrated Controls Excellence team! You’ll gain hands-on experience in maintaining ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting) and ICSR (Internal Controls over Sustainability Reporting) frameworks, gaining insight into an ERP system rollout, and working with a highly professional team.

What You’ll Do

• Support tasks related to ICFR and ICSR maintenance (e.g., updating documentation, tracking deadlines, organizing files).
• Assist with AuditBoard system updates and coordinate questionnaires and follow-ups.
• Liaise with external auditors for alignment (on lists and information requests)
• Prepare basic reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Help maintain process documentation and ensure accuracy in control descriptions.
• Potential involvement in recurring organizational tasks and other projects based on your progress and interest.

Requirements

• Interested in Governance, Internal Controls, Assurance departments.
• Currently enrolled in a Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related program.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• English required - German is a plus.
• No prior finance or compliance experience required—just curiosity and willingness to learn!

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the salary for this position, which is € 29.400 gross per year based on part-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
