Your top priority as an International Transportation Manager is to support our current and future business needs. This role must establish and foster relationships with internal stakeholders up to and including executives, as well as external trading partners to progress NTE’s international supply chain capabilities and performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes a comprehensive sourcing strategy to competitively tension and contract ocean, intermodal, drayage, and brokerage services to best support NTE’s supply chain needs.
- Provides subject matter expertise and continuously expands knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, capabilities, and technology tools as well as plans to manage risks.
- Establishes internal and external KPIs and develops actions to monitor, manage and improve performance.
- Maintains collaborative, executive level carrier relationships to drive mutually beneficial initiatives and results.
- Works with Logistics Solutions Manager to establish a transportation management system (TMS) for international transportation and onboard spend into TMS.
- Partners with key stakeholders (i.e. merchandise, inventory planning, DCs) across NTE to provide visibility and insights into the fulfillment of supply into the distribution centers and manufacturing facilities.
- Liaises cross-functionally including with the Trade Compliance leader to meet established import/export policies and comply to regulations.
- Participates in annual budgeting process, monitors expenses to targets throughout the fiscal year, adjusts, and communicates as needed to meet commitments.
What you will bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or Logistics.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in International Logistics/Transportation/Supply Chain.
- Demonstrated experience with sourcing and operational management of ocean, intermodal, drayage, and brokerage.

Previous experience operating in a transportation management system (TMS).
- Track record of developing innovative solutions and successfully executing them
- Experience establishing and managing a budget.
- Background with analyzing large sets of raw data and translating them into actionable information.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain a robust performance culture to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain relationships up to the executive level.

Competitive Pay: Earn $85,600 to $130,000 annually, with your exact compensation personalized based on your skills, experience, and location. We believe in rewarding top talent with pay that reflects your value.

Variable Pay: Variable pay is a component of compensation that can fluctuate based on performance, results, or specific metrics, rather than being a fixed amount like a salary. Annual bonus tied to company performance are paid annually.

The NTE AIP plan pay ranges from 5% to 100% of base salary. Eligibility is based on grade and roles that manage performance. Eligibility and payouts are outlined in the NTE AIP policy.
