Primary Function of the Position:

Intuitive is seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its corporate international tax function. This role will manage tax reporting, compliance, provision processes, and transfer pricing activities, while also supporting strategic tax planning initiatives—including impact assessments of legislative changes. The manager will lead process improvements, automation efforts, and collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, treasury, and external service providers. This position reports to the Director of International Tax.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and review U.S. international tax compliance, including calculations and filings related to GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, foreign tax credits (FTCs), Section 987, and other relevant areas.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of international tax forms (e.g., 5471, 8858, 8865, 8991, 8992, 1118), ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Manage quarterly and annual tax provision processes under ASC 740, with a focus on international tax impacts across global operations.
  • Conduct multi-year tax modeling to assess implications of U.S. and foreign tax law changes and support strategic planning.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of evolving international tax legislation (e.g., OECD Pillar Two, FTC regulations, Section 901(m), PTEP regs) on the company’s global tax profile.
  • Perform technical tax research, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Support transfer pricing initiatives, including policy implementation, true-up analysis, and documentation aligned with OECD guidelines.
  • Review Country-by-Country reporting, Master File, Local File documentation, and other transfer pricing deliverables.
  • Collaborate with global tax teams, accounting, finance, and business stakeholders to gather and analyze data for tax reporting and planning.
  • Drive transformation of tax functions to support growth, including adoption of tax technology, process simplification, documentation, and effective use of data.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in U.S. international tax, ideally a mix of Big 4 public accounting and multinational corporate tax departments.
  • Strong expertise in U.S. international tax rules including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, FTCs, and Section 482.
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP and data visualization tools like Tableau; advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week

Required Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with OECD transfer pricing principles and global documentation standards is a plus.

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
