Overview:

Job Title: Sales Assistant 

Location: Fully Remote

Hours: 15 - 40 hours/week

Compensation: $7-10/hour based on experience, plus production bonuses after a 90-day probationary period.

As an Sales Assistant with Solvency Now Bookkeeping, Inc. (“Solvency Now”) our Mission Statement is “Complete and perfect financial records for [Business Owners] peace of mind”. Your purpose will be to get sales appointments booked and all admin completed for leads.

The purpose of an appointment setter is to support the Sales Manager and/or CEO on sales by efficiently identifying, qualifying, and scheduling meetings with potential clients or leads. This role aims to streamline the sales process by ensuring that sales representatives focus their efforts on high-potential prospects, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the company. The appointment setter acts as the first point of contact, creating a positive initial impression, and laying the groundwork for successful sales engagements.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Update and maintain CRM system and pipeline with details of all interactions with leads, including contact information, communication history, and appointment status.
  • Ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date to help with tracking and reporting.
  • Facilitate and manage all necessary paperwork and documentation once a lead agrees to move forward with the sales process, ensuring that all forms and contracts are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Qualify leads based on company criteria to ensure they are a good fit for the company’s products or services.
  • Ensure that Discovery Forms are filled out in service of qualifying leads, (or filling out the data by getting the prospect on the phone and asking for data)
  • Schedule appointments between qualified leads and the sales team or business representatives.
  • Coordinate and manage the calendars of the sales team to ensure appointments are set at convenient times.
  • Conduct follow-up calls or emails or texts with prospects who have shown interest but have not yet scheduled an appointment.
  • Send reminders to prospects and the sales team about upcoming meetings.
  • Provide regular reports to the sales team or management about the number of appointments set, the outcome of these appointments, and any feedback from prospects.
  • Handle inbound inquiries from potential clients and guide them through the initial stages of the sales process.
  • Address any questions or concerns that prospects may have before scheduling an appointment.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure that the handoff of leads is smooth and that the sales representatives have all the necessary information for their meetings.
  • Continuously refine scripts and outreach strategies based on the effectiveness of past campaigns. (Get approval on all changes)
  • Stay updated on the company’s products, services, and market trends to engage prospects effectively.
  • Make outbound calls or texts or emails  to prospective clients to introduce the company’s offerings.
  • Use scripts or personalized approaches to engage potential clients and explain the value proposition.
  • Efficiently manage time to balance outbound calls, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
  • Use internal software 
  • Other related duties as needed or required and agreed to by you.

Qualifications

Minimum Education & Training Requirements:

  • High school diploma or associate’s degree.
  • In-house training as required

Job Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
  • Warm personality with strong communication follow up skills.
  • Ability to to be persistent in the face of rejection or no responses. 
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.

Working conditions

This job may require occasional evening and weekend work and working with challenging clients.

Physical requirements

You must be able to sit and work at a computer for 8 hours a day and sometimes longer as may be required. You must also be able to engage in date entry and typing information into computer files and logs.

Salary
$7 – $10 per hour
