​International Network Operation Center (INOC) Technician II

SUMMARY

The International Network Operation Center, (INOC) Technician II will be responsible for monitoring all MARA sites online via company software, applications and dashboards as well as adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures, (SOP’s).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform routine monitoring of mining equipment via Foreman, Grafana, DOMO and dashboards such as Data Wayfarer to identify potential equipment or network issues.
  • Utilize the Maintain X application to ensure optimal functionality of company equipment.
  • Collaborate with mining engineers, software engineers, datacenter technicians and other team members to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Monitor various dashboards for issues and then report the findings to the proper personnel and or chain of command.
  • Monitor equipment performance and efficiency as per company SOP’s.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
  • Participate in and promote a culture of safety with datacenter personnel as well as themining operations team.
  • Ability to practice excellent professionalism when utilizing Microsoft Teams messaging, email and phone communication etiquette.
  • On-call during emergencies. 
  • This is NOT a call center position.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in NOC operations, networking and/or telecommunications experience such as MS Server, Linux, Office 365 MCSA is a plus. 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience monitoring network equipment via a laptop computer and experience troubleshooting network equipment and possible electrical issues. 
  • Ideal candidates will have experience working in a NOC environment, monitoring and troubleshooting networks, dashboards, routers and switches etc. 
  • Strong knowledge of mining equipment, machinery, and associated technologies is a plus. 
  • Excellent teamwork and communications skills and attention to detail. 
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures, (SOP’s).
