The Role
This role requires strong strategic thinking, advanced negotiation skills, and a proven ability to deliver measurable results. Acting as a client-facing strategist, direct media buyer, and programmatic trader, you will ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly while driving innovation and efficiency across the media buying function.
What You’ll Do
● Develop client-focused media plans with clear strategic rationale by leveraging audience research, market insights, and performance data to plan, negotiate, and execute audio media schedules.
● Execute programmatic audio campaigns with a "Hands on Keyboard" (HOK) approach; manage campaign setup, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and optimization directly within Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) to complement direct buys.
● Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored recommendations and solutions informed by demographics, consumption patterns, and emerging technologies such as attribution and identity resolution.
● Present media plans and optimizations to clients.
● Enter media plans into Engage with accuracy and attention to detail.
● Manage budgets and maintain a rolling pipeline of opportunities, proactively identifying areas for growth.
● Build and maintain relationships with audio publishers in Europe and globally to gain insights into local market conditions, trends, and the audio landscape.
● Lead negotiations with media partners to ensure favorable outcomes and strong ROI.
● Oversee flawless campaign execution across multiple platforms.
● Monitor performance and implement real-time optimizations to maximize results.
● Handle ad hoc requests with agility, supporting overall client strategy and needs.
● Establish and enforce best practices for pixel tracking, vendor verification, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and campaign success.
● Provide monthly updates, summaries, and reports on market insights, competitive analysis, and emerging trends to internal teams.
● Act as a subject-matter expert for internal teams, providing guidance on international audio advertising strategies, rates, and best practices.
● Facilitate communication and coordination between internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of international campaigns.
● Manage proprietary international contact lists and databases.
● Perform additional duties as needed to support the evolving needs of the organization.
