Intern - Software Engineering, Connectivity (Test Automation)

TLDR

Support the development and testing of software for the AeroConnect product, gaining hands-on experience with experienced engineers on embedded software projects.

The Software Engineering Intern, Connectivity will support the development and testing of software for the AeroConnect product. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers on real-world connectivity and embedded software projects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support software development activities for Connectivity products
  • Assist with coding, debugging, and testing under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Participate in unit testing and help document test results
  • Assist in creating and updating technical documentation
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for software and system integration issues
  • Attend team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks
  • Learn and follow established software development processes and best practices
  • Assist with lab setup, software builds, and validation activities as needed

Requirements

Core Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts and software development fundamentals
  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar through coursework or projects
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) through coursework or internships is a plus
  • Exposure to embedded systems, networking, or operating systems concepts through academic projects is preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow technical documentation

Benefits

The compensation for this position will be $28.00 for Juniors & $29.00 for Seniors.
