HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Purchasing Intern will be responsible for the following:

  • Support buyers in sourcing across North America (USA, Canada and Mexico)
  • Assist with quotations, equalizations and supplier benchmarking
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance, Consulting and Legal) to support ongoing purchasing projects
  • Vendor master requests
  • Create and manage purchase orders in SAP
  • Resolve PO vs. invoice discrepancies
  • Managing and updating contract tools such as CLM and DocuSign
  • Executing compliance documents (NDA and BPCoC)

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Student currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or other related degrees
  • Able to work a minimum of 20+ hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
  • Minimum sophomore standing or higher
  • Must have and maintain a minimum 2.8 GPA or higher
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Able to come onsite to our Fort Mill, SC Tire HQs 3 days/week (Mon-Fri)
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
  • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity
